Not a colour scheme that's going to win the website any fans on this forum.

Lovely idea for a site...unfortunately it burned my eyes after two seconds so I could not look further, added to the fact it's the scum's coloured and I think the webmaster has scored an O.G

On a related note, it always brings home the disgraceful town planning decisions, imposed on Swindon when seeing old photos of the town and what it has become on here http://www.flickr.com/photos/swindonlocal/

Seems there were a lot of pubs that fell by the wayside in the town centre. Not that ime (ahem)that old but can remember when the only ones down the bottom of town were- Rolling Mills, the Sir Dan,Locomotive(good discotheque on a Sat),Lamb + Flag. I believe the Albion club is still trading?

I have done a lot of reading up on Edith New.......certainly a very under rated person in the Swindon stakes.

Ta for posting this Ardiles....certainly looks up my street.

2nd issue arrived in the post today. There's an article about the club in it, written by Dick Mattick. Plenty about the railway works and other things. If this sort of thing interests you then i definately recommend you get a copy....
