Hi all,

I know I will get shot down for this, but I have been told that we are about to finalise a season long loan deal for a striker from Man City.  The deal is for Alex Nimley, who is 19 and recently signed a 4 year deal to stay at Man City (he is highly rated by Mancini as one for the future) but Mancini has told the youngster that he is free to go on loan next year as he plans to bring in new recruits to bolster the first team squad in a push for the title.

From what I have been told, our recently publicised relationship with City has helped to bring about this deal, along with the sale of Henshall, as they had interest from a couple of championships clubs, but they chose to entrust the youngsters development with us.

Dont shoot the messenger, but I genuinely believe this information to be reliable - I could yet be proved wrong as my source hasn't always been right! but it sounded too specific to be made up.

I recall reading about him when he decided to play for England instead of Liberia.

The same name was mentioned to me today as well, he certainly sounds highly rated by the management at City.

Looks like someone has already been at play on wikepedia

If its that easy to do, I might sign up and make some "additions" to Oxford United entries!  Cheesy

Wikipedia is as reliable as ever!  Apparently he's been playing for the Liberian U20 team since he was ten years old
