Any recommendations? For approx 100 people for a party later on this year. No food required just a bar and DJ.

I've done longs before and I know Sandgate provide a free room but anywhere else? Has anyone used the Tawny owl before?

Gw will give you the bar. I used it for a party once and it was good.

Thistle hotel was good a few years back when my brother had his wedding reception there,I also had a mate who had is 50th  birthday at what i think is the polish club in milton road. I think it was cheapish but average in size although you could go outside if the weather is good.

I think the council wanted a couple of million for it if I recall correctly.

Chris from the club has contacted me and offered me the Sponsors lounge. Is that any good?

Yeah, it's where the VIP meals etc are on matchday, should hold 100 easy and it's pretty nice these days. Best bet is pop up there and have a look yourself though before you book.

At least I won't have to pay the VAT on it. Anyhow, it won't be me paying...
