I'm with One F on this. People just like a good moan. If someone was banging a drum for 90 mins constantly people would moan at that. Silencing the 'atmosphere' doesn't feel like it's actually happening.
Of course people would moan about a drum, because it's such a fucking annoying constant noise. I do however think that due to drums being so common that I find them easier to tune out of. In fact I'm noticing the same with the trumpets. Saying that: drums; horns; vuvuzelas. Any of these in the county ground week in week out would drive me insane.

I love my team. Just meh about everything else. Premiership, England blah blah blah.
And a wise decision too. As Barry said... It's funny how i think those players deserve booing and abuse, yet no matter how bad Swindon play i'd never boo them or give them abuse. Clearly I love Swindon and England can fuck off when it comes to the crunch, which has enabled me to get some perspective on that toothless, gutless excuse for football.

Again, I think you've missed the point TT. You're confusing the World Cup with England (much like the national press). I usually enjoy the World Cup despite England, not because of them

Fair enough Paul. But just like being disinterested because I have no connection to a team in the premiership, I don't watch it.

I heard the vuvuzelas at one point during the game and it reminded me of "Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll". For that reason, I hate them.
