I say thanks Greer,he helped keep us up on loan then gave us the best season we,ve had for years together with putting the club £250,000 up for the transfer. Then all he gets is stick like so many ex town players good or bad.

I think they've delayed the deal until tomorrow on purpose.

must admit that when we were looking like we were heading for the Championship, Greer was one(along with half dozen others) I was concerned about as didn't think he would be up to playing Championship level week in, week out....so on the basis we're heading for the Championship this coming season, he would be surplus to requirements at the end of the season anyway so for that reason, bovvered? not overly tbh

anyone would have thought the season was halfway through and we were mid-table the way you lot are carrying on. Why don't you wait to see who we replace him with first before you go off on one?!
Asking Morrison to step up doesn't mean he's the no.1 choice, he's literally asking him to put himself in the mix.
Jeez.
There's clearly more to the Greer move than meets the eye, no doubt danny is working on replacing him. He's not a fucking idiot.
Best greer-gate post

I think Morrison is more than capable of stepping up to the plate, it was towards the end of the 2008-2009 season where he was a complete rock at the back, and looked so cool and confident at the back, and against Southampton last season he had a brilliant game, sealed with a well worked goal too, and most importantly he kept Rickie Lambert, yes! Rickie Lambert quiet, if he can do that, he has to be good, yes he is prone to the odd mistake, but then again most 19 year olds are, hes still learning, and wil flourish with Cuthbert next to him and Lucas behind him as they are able to lead the line, Cuthbert was also Scotland undr 19 and 21 captain, so he has experience of being a leader, and fingers crossed we can all hope he can lead the line well
