I actually quite like it, very catchy. It's a world cup song for fuck sake, it's not supposed to win any awards for services to rap music.

I prefer the effort by We Are Scientists, catchy, tongue in cheek and original.

The Dizzee rack is shite. The only thing that partially saves it, is the money goes to charity.
Talking about World in Motion, has anyone seen that Mars advert where John Barnes does his rap from WiM. It looks like Barnes has got paid in Mars bars bearing the size of him !!

Did you notice this Dizzy Rascal emphasise twice that the proceeds were going to charity and then gesture to the crowd to applaud, to which he clapped himself something silly. Here's the 'Shout' song by Tears For Fears which pisses all over this monstrosity of an attempt:

Saw Barnes yesterday at the McDonalds Footy thing at Dorcan (McDonalds, Mars, Big girth, got to be a link there somewhere). He has grown a bit, still don't reckon he's Ruddock sized yet though.

Continuing with my "Corden is a wanker" campaign, did anyone else see that argument he had with Patrick Stewart at an awards show? Neither of them seemed to come out of it looking good, with Corden looking a real uneducated wanker - though as you'll be aware I am somewhat biased against him. Patrick Stewart is a god.

Yeah its here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment_and_arts/10277020.stmI thought it was very distasteful when Corden hit back with "I can see you dying right now", initially thought he was having a go at Stewart for being a bit old, but on second viewing I think he means in comedic terms? If not he's a prick. The only thing I've ever seen him on is Gavin and Stacey and the History Boys, so I didn't mind him until now. Saw Patrick Stewart in the Covered Market in Oxford a few months back. Didn't realise it was him, but as we walked past he said something to the fit girl he was with, and I instantly knew who it was. And then I got on my bike and rode off....on the grass.
