As somebody with an elderly mother who manages to fall when she is walking around at home, it doesn't surprise me that elderly people are falling while walking on an uneven street.

This will be a good portion of posters on here in the next few years given the demographic

As we are updating on shit testing I have been putting it off for long enough as the idea of catching my shit in a bowl and gathering a bit was just ew... however today I did such a hefty log that when I turned to wipe, its head was standing proudly above the water level and an opportunity presented itself, so a quick toddle to the en-suite to tidy up (no bog roll there so further toddling with pants round ankles, bloody 12 year old! Roll Eyes ) and then back with test kit to get the requisite sample which as required had not had any contact with the water.

Plus it flushed in a oner, winner winner chicken dinner all round!

Results will be awaited with trepidation.

When you make it up, stick it in the fridge to cool for an hour, tastes a lot better then

That is true.  Maybe as we're all getting older we should make one and move it over there.  Especially as I spend my time whinging about this thread being hijacked by politics.

Hope it goes well for you, my missus was supposed to be having key hole to have it out but when she came round they had opened her up to do it as it was too swollen.

That reminds me, we got a water meter fitted this year (we're with Anglian water) as our bills had gone up to around £90 a month. I've submitted 2 bills so far and it's worked out about £45 a month - which will be less in winter as the plants won't need watering. A good result for my back pocket.
