I don’t really like Twitter, it seems to be even more overrun with nut jobs than Facebook. But H is firmly in the category of good nut jobs. He seems to be as hilarious as I’d already assumed. Liked his one about Reed’s feet

I tried donating blood yesterday. Never again!

Too many stupid questions.

Whose blood, is it? Where did you get it from? Why is it in a bucket?

Harry McKirdy is the best Mate of my Mates Son.
You couldn’t make it up.
Evidently a massive Chelsea fan and season ticket holder.

I think badly timed celebrations of all things Chelsea was a criticism from Carlisle fans.

We got a dog yesterday, a great big rescue greyhound with an IQ of about 2.

Anyway, he's just attempted the stairs for the first time and whilst he just about got up, you've never seen a more instant regretting of a decision when he realised he had to try and get down again. Had to carry the silly fucker.

You’ve made a great choice. I’ve had greyhounds for years. Fantastic pets.

My old boy hasn’t got too long left now. Cue more tears. Trap 2. What a run!

He's our first, not a puppy by any means as he's nearly six, retired ex-racer as are most I suppose. Any and all tips appreciated, seems pretty well behaved so far though and only gets vocal when he needs the loo, which is better than the alternative!

Good luck and welcome to the club. Had our dog 5 1/2 months now. Hard work but rewarding.

They are all - almost - laid back, lazy, undemanding and don’t mind being left. They love people. Are good with kids. They’ll only go to toilet if they really have no choice. They hate soiling their home.

My old fella has even got used to living with 3 cats. Keep their teeth clean, nails clipped. Should be no trouble doing this as they are so well used to being handled.

They will never bite.

Well done,   rescue dogs are brilliant,  got two,  would never fill the pockets of those dodgy breeders. Definitely takes time but well worth the hard work.

I'll be honest, when he wanted to go out at 2am this morning for a shite I wasn't full of the joys of dog ownership, but he'll be worth it.
