this from the pox forum.
"The team does seem to be lacking confidence, and the crowd at the Kassam was the flattest I have seen/heard for a long time.
Should we therefore consider trying to bring in a big name player? Someone who will not just get the crowd excited and bring some fans back but also give the team a lift.
Finding such a player and paying wages would obviously be difficult, but would supporters prefer this approach than bringing in 2-3 less well known players?

Perhaps;
Jody Morris
Jason Puncheon
Richard Chaplow
Darren Ambrose
Nathan Ellington

Do they actually know who they are? Puncheon has scored 3 in 10 for saints this year including scoring at the weekend in the prem.

I'm sure the opening post is a joke.

Who is going to want to play for a team languishing in the bottom of league 2? Maybe a vaguely ambitious non-league player and possibly Jody Morris, but the rest of the players on that list? Laughable!

God bless local newspapers.

Adver: Set of Keys Found in Purton

Complete with picture of Purton, in case anyone who lived there and had lost their keys had forgotten what it looked like.

Describe them? Erm, they're small metal things with little teeth that can open locks.

As an aside, the picture isn't of Waite Meads Close. 10 points to anyone who can name where it was taken.
