Nice quote from Michael Laudrup. No wonder players want to play for him.

“I always say it is easy to smile, shake hands for the picture when players arrive. But I think it is nice to shake hands when they leave and that doesn’t happen often in this world of football.”

Well it wouldn't be rape if you were willing.

Just substitute the jagermeister for some anti-rape juice to be sure.

The Mirror footy pullout saying we were cheered on by a bumper crowd of 18,000.

Makes you wonder if the reporter was actually there No

First time back in the saddle for nearly a year and managed a respectable 10 miles without too much trouble.

Happy with that.

Family day out at Leeds Castle in Kent.  Brilliant place.  Stacks there for a history geek like me and plenty for the kids as well.  And the entry ticket, which was reasonably priced any way, I thought, gets you in again for free as many times as you want to go again for the next 12 months.  I'll be back.
