Went there for a stag a few years back. It's fucking brilliant. One of the lads we went with, who knew Berlin, dragged us to a place called, "The Hoff." It is without a shadow of a doubt the most unqiue and incredible night out I've ever experienced.

It was a bit like (actually, not a bit like it was in fact) a derelict block of flats that had been turned into a fucking huge multiple floored, multi roomed club with a sand filled mock-beach like court yard with live bands. It had countless live bands, countless DJs, Jazz, Rock, House, Techno, more birds than you could shake a stick at and it was like nothing I've ever experienced. Wild, and more un-German than the stereo type would ever let you believe.

Find it and go there. You'll never forget it.

Cheers Barry. I've heard good stories about Berlin so quite glad i booked the flight now.

I'll let the party i'm with know about it. Fingers crossed we can find it.

Never been to Germany so don't know what to expect. My German isn't that great either. It always come out as french as i'm better at that language.

An bit of lucky research led me to an area called, Tacheles, and I think it's Cafe Zapata. It appears the whole block is some former squat turned cultural centre.

Edit: And from recollection there's a big bar across the road that was good as well, but it was more of a normal bar and not completely mental like Cafe Zapata.
