Just got back from watching Jim Jeffries at Manchester Apollo. I’ve seen him before but this was his best. Fucking superb.

I saw Jim Jeffries do a Comedy Store touring gig at a half empty Durham Gala theatre back in about 2008. Mark Watson was on the line-up that night when he was still doing his sets in a Welsh accent.
Great night. Plenty of people walked out during JJ’s set.

Jim Jefferies can be very hit and miss but is usually excellent, I have had a couple of chats with fake welshman Mark Watson usually about his support of the shitheads, nice bloke though. And many people have walked out of my sets half way through thank you for asking Rich

When he got onto a disabled routine a few walked out . He was talking about why he “fucking hates” the blind and then the deaf at the time. I’m sure he called them cunts numerous times. It was ace. I was crying through a part about how Donald Trump said he used to grab women by the pussy. And he talked about that and was wondering how you grab someone by the pussy. He went off on one and how Trump probably hung around materiality wards where everything was hanging out of women and it was easy to grab it. He certainly divides a crowd. But I guess it could be better to be loved and hated by the crowd, then be liked by everyone.

People go to a Jim Jefferies gig and take offence? What are they expecting?

It’s a hard one. I think Jefferies has more comedy around trying to offend. I feel Boyle intends to offend and isn’t always funny with it.

Boyle's selling point is offending people. He's popular because he's risqué. He makes people laugh just because he says things that shouldn't be said. It's quite effective.
Jim Jefferies, however, is just fucking hilarious.
