[sarcasm] No, I would say there's no possibility of that whatsoever [/sarcasm]

shady: Cheers! We're arriving at Heathrow saturday morning, and will be in quite a rush to get to the hotel and then to Wembley to pick up the tickets. Who knows if we manage to stop for a cold one before the game, but we're definetly having one after the game - hopefully in celebrations!  Beers

You could get some cans in a carrier bag and have them outside Wembley. I plan to do that but i'm a bit cautious of all them Millwall fans who are going to be doing the same thing.

Sonic Youth: Now that would be a great thing! I've wanted them to come to Norway for a pre-season for years. I remember in the early or mid-90s Swindon Town were in Finland for pre season a summer or two - but I wasn't able to go there.

Do you remember more norwegians than Jan Aage Fjørtoft in Swindon?

I remember two local acquaintances were at Swindon Town on trials after getting the contact information from our fanclub in the 90s. The two guys never made it, but they were young at the time - 16 or so - so I guess it was much for fun.

In the late 90s I also think Jarle Wee was at Swindon on an unsucessful trial.

A few other scandinavians have been at Swindon in around year 2000 - both Kim Heiselberg (Denmark) and a Finn who used to play in Tippeligaen for Tromsø were at the club - unfortunatly!  Doh

I can't think of anyone else at the time... David Hay was of course assistent manager in 93/94 after being Lillestrøms manager in the late 80s - getting them a league championship in Norway, but due to boring football the attendances went down even when they won gold medal!   Huh?

You've just been appointed president of the pressure group. I've not been yet and was looking to go this summer, but it was about 2k, and i could go to NZ for that. If i had a reason to sell to the missus, that would seal it.

Norway Red, if I see you on Saturday I'll definitely buy you a beer...

What does it say on the postcard from Fjortoft? Particularly the printed bit under his name?

The Dunbar Club..that brings back memories!

My mum used to take me there all the time. There can't be many employers that lay on a free social/leisure club for their employees these days!
