I’ve had bits and pieces of a cold since before the New Year. Can’t shake the fucker off. Barky, tickly cough. Snotty, bunged up nose. Twitterati pointing the finger at the vaccine.

I've been exactly the same, my Missus reckons that in the 20+ years she has known me its the most unwell she has seen me, covid tested a couple of times and it ain't that.

But..... everyone round here has had it, including loads of kids who haven't been vaxxed so it's nothing to do with that.

My friends Dad was ill a couple of weeks ago, was rushed into hospital & at one point they didn’t think he was going to survive.

Turned out it was a particularly nasty bout of the flu, and after getting antibiotics he was able to walk out a couple of days later

I had a cold about 5 weeks ago now.
Nothing worse than any other cold but my nose hasn’t been right since. It feels constantly blocked but not like a snotty blocked kinda way just like my nasal passages aren’t open/wide enough to take in as much air as they used to / should do.

Last time I had trouble like this I was about 10 and eventually had the inside of my nose blowtorched to widen them (and as a result I was home from school smack back during Euro 96)

Rest of the cold is long gone but the stufffy nose won’t shift

Get down a chemist and buy a sinus rinse. Worth trying. Helped clear mine years back after having the same thing for a while. Useful for when you’ve actually got a cold too. Not the nicest thing to have to do though (it fires salinated water up your nose,  through the sinuses and back out the throat and gob).

People who advertise stuff for sale without a price, then when you comment asking what's the price they reply "DM" me. What's so fucking secret about a price? On yer bike.

Have we been referred to yet as ‘Jody Morris’ Swindon Town’?
