This is the water. And this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within.

This heat is horrible. I can just about cope with the day time though a couple degrees cooler would be ideal but I've not slept for 2 days. My wife joked about sleeping on the kitchen floor, but i might give it a go tonight.

This weather is great if you're on holiday but for going about daily life it's just constantly uncomfortable

I don't mind it so much, but it's a nightmare for my dog. I'm having to fill the with cold water and just dip him then wrap a cold wet cloth around his chest / back of his neck just so he'll settle down at night.
Luckily I live near a stream so on walks he just runs in and cools himself down.

Trying to get a spider out of the bedroom last night, it was climbing my bedside cabinet. Dunno what variety it was but it was greyhound fast I grabbed at it but it got away, then it abseiled to the floor and shot under the bed. I went to sleep.

My wife hates spiders, and whilst im not massively fond on them i'll happily get some bog roll, collect it and send it for a swim. Sometimes they are too quick and scarper under the bed but i still have to pretend i got it in the crunched up bog roll else the wife wont go to sleep.

I love the hot weather, but the issue is we never get the chance to acclimatise. As soon as it's hot, it's not again.
And also, working in front of a computer when there's no air-con. Your arms get clammy on the desk and then get sore with the constant movement.

Welcome to my world. We do have air-con, but it's fucking expensive to run all day so I tend to use a fan when working.
