Lewis Hamilton's constant attempts to compare himself to Senna, two thirds of his world titles have been achieved when he was marginally the better driver in the Mercedes team, with a car that was 20x better than anyone elses?
Sorry I know he is a hero to many but I just cannot warm to the guy, probably not helped by the BBC's constant adoration of the bloke...

I rate him as a driver, but he's not very likable

You're not alone. He is a great driver without question, but such a twat. He'll probably be looked back on as one of the greats regardless, I can see him winning another two titles at least.

I used to love him, but I think it was around the time of his Ali G outburst I started to realise he's a bit of a bellend. He certainly lacks likability.

My Reading supporting mate has a brother in law that's pit-crew. According to him both Hamilton and Button are prize wankers.

I am not denying that he is a good driver, but great? Has he ever actually had a poor car?

You don't win three world titles without being great. The McLaren he ended up in was pretty shite, and even with 5/6 retirements during his last year there he still finished 4th.

That could apply to Vettel too. If ever there was an above average driver getting undue plaudits its him. Hamilton is a grade A twat, no doubt, but he's been the best driver of every team he's driven in - OK maybe not v Alonso at the time, but he got bloody close. Has he driven a bad car? Not really I suppose, but its not really his fault.

Great driver but cannot warm to him. I think the whole PR thing had been drummed into him from such am early age that he cannot be his natural self whereas people like Alonso, Button have a natural style and genuinely seem more likeable. I also think his bling bling Hollywood lifestyle doesn't do him any favours.

He is a bellend, but the fact he's not even the biggest bellend in his own team shows what a twat Rosberg is.

Formula one is dull and over rated in my opinion. More interesting with true characters in years gone by.

I lost interest when Stirling Moss failed to win the Championship in his Vanwall
