OR

Parking in Lidle on the Gt Western Way at the back of the carpark where the hedge is with no cars either side to avoid the hapless twats who make denting and scratching newer cars a hobby. Only to find a Vauxhall Zafira parked next to me! FFS what is the matter with these ppl?

that's just it though isn't it?  as much as we rant about the ignorant they will always rear their heads and remind us that no matter how much we try they will always outnumber those of us who are actually capable rational thought.

The clocks changing. Why?! Just means the kids get up an hour earlier!

Pro tip: send them to Grandparents the nights that the clocks change.

Does anyone else live in North Swindon on here? Got woken up at about 3:30 by a loud noise that I can only describe as sounding like a wind chime. Most odd.
---
But at least my watch and closk radio auto-set the time change so I had an 'extra' hour in bed to compensate!

Would that be upper or lower Penhill or Penhill village?

The rat run that you have use to head south out of Manchester (otherwise known as the A556) is a national embarrassment.  Took ages to get the M6 last night.  I don't know how folk up there have tolerated the situation for as long as they have.

It's the 3rd largest conurbation in the country, FFS.  And the recommended route south isn't even dual carriageway standard.  It's bizarre.

Live in Greenmeadow and heard whatever it was as well though not so loud and more than once. As you say seemed like wind chimes but all very peculiar.

 Hmmm

I got an email this morning that suggested "Extra hour this weekend…Why not spend it shopping at Matalan?". The idea that someone could even think this might appeal to, well anyone really, made me shudder.

I'm in Greenmeadow and something woke me at 3.30am, because I remember looking at the clock.  There's been a few mentions of it on fb today as well.

On a separate note, we braved Ikea today, which actually was quite bearable (although my husband would probably disagree  Smiley.  In the food hall, there were numerous signs asking for people to clear their tables of rubbish and put the trays on the racks when finished.  Really not a difficult or time consuming task. However,   the number of people who couldn't be bothered and just left their mess for the next person who wanted the table to clear was terrible.  It never fails to astound me how lazy and disregarding of others some people are.
