Wasn't there a yank years ago that tried to win the lottery by buying every single ticket. Only in his wisdom, he didn't realise he would never have enough time to get all the tickets fed into the machines. I think the story was he got about 50% entered in time, and fortunately still won.

Tis slightly misleading that article.According to my info ( mate at work - Chelsea ST holder and member of the above group ) there are 95 ish members and Chelseas stance was they couldnt give every member a ticket so those that were ST holders were to buy thru usual routes and the club would do its best to fill the remainder

The thing is they spent £4k on the adver but got a £10k wedding out of it, it was a risk that workedout.  Does £10k ev en pay for a wedding now?
