BT

Firstly BT Sport... free if you have broadband. Well yes it is theoretically but you have to download an app, which won't download and if you want it via BT Vision you need tp buy a viewing card for a tenner so actually it isnt free is it!

Now I get an email saying they are closing my Talk21 account and to keep I need to link to my BT Broadband account using this easy link. Except the reference they given me doesn't work and it claims we dont have broadband..

Tried to ring help line and no reply for 15 mins apart from we are very busy etc.

Fucking shambles!

Took grandchildren to Chessington yesterday. Two rides not in use until 2014 as undergoing refurbishment and one ride stopped halfway through the day with no-one really knowing why. Waits for two hours on the water splash and another roller coaster, and 75 minutes on another three of the rides. Result, spent money on the "fairground" style attractions (throw a ball into a bucket for £2 to win a fluffy toy type of thing) - not impressed.

I think the same thing when people put their player ratings in matchday thread.

how is giving a rating any different than stating which individual played best and which played worst?

I suppose it isn't much different except that it gives each player scores.

I don't understand what the problem is with giving them ratings out of 10. I like it because it's an easy way to see who played well and who didn't and compare people's opinions, especially when opinion is quite split on some players.

No they were all 1k unless you had the 16k ram pack.

Interestingly my old ZX81 is now in the capable hands of Alan (talktalk) Smiley
