Par 3, 165 yards, 7 iron to the front of the green, ball rolls to the hole hits the pin and comes to rest 2cm from the cup. Birdy was no consolation for that hole in one chance. Flag was leaning forwards slightly which I think kept it out. Probably won't get that chance again. Gutted

To check the expansion tank is refilling. Knowing my luck there will be a wasps nest on the ballcock. I've had similar plumbing trouble. Replaced the float valve in hot water header tank as it was leaking and kept on overfilling and leaking out of the overflow pipe. This didn't solve the problem as it kept on overfilling with water from the expansion pipe - so ended up bending the float valve arm down to reduce the amount of water "refilled". Great job to do in the mini heatwave |
