Those people who stand around in the background on Top Gear.  Are they, by any chance, extras from The Walking Dead who turn up in the wrong place every week?

And they always put the attractive ladies at the front - fair play to them.

Being unemployed, I've watched a lot of the older episodes of Top Gear on Dave, and it's funny how empty the place is in the earlier series.

I think they openly said they put the fit birds at the front in one episode- I don't have a problem with it because they don't pretend they don't. I certainly would rather see that than a bloke from the Rover owner's club.

I ordered some new football kit for one of my sons on 8th Feb, which still hasn't arrived. On enquiring when I might receive it, I have been fobbed off with "the website does say orders may take up to 28 days". It does, but it doesn't mean this isn't shit service.

If it's generic kit (i.e. Nike/adidas template X rather than replica team kits) quite a lot of them don't carry stock but order it in from the manufacturers. I've had that trying to find the generic adidas shorts to match our home/away kits when the club shop ran out - their website showed it as in stock, two weeks later they came back and said "Sorry, we order these in from adidas as we get orders and they've run out". It's annoying but understandable.

I think the list of people applying to watch top gear might me merged with that of signing a certain petition for a nice list of wall candidates when the revolution comes.

Rafa Benitez annoys me.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21611064

Yes, he did well at Valencia and won a European Cup with Liverpool in 2004/5. But since then, pretty much nothing. And his record at Chelsea seems to be going the same way as his spell at Inter - the same number of games drawn and lost as won.

Chelsea fans started to boo him because of him coming from a rival and making remarks about the club. But they continue to boo him because he can't put out a consistently successful side, a fact which he fails to acknowledge. The title of interim manager or manager wouldn't change that.
