Trying to explain to people that if their car's tax disc has expired the 5 day exemption rule for buying it online/by phone doesn't apply. I kind of hope that they get a fine for not displaying a valid tax disc just for ignoring me, haha.

The fat chav cunt walking through town this morning with his fat chav cunt of a missus and fat chav cunt kids wearing a Pox training top.

I can only assume he has seen the light and has saved up his giro's to come and buy a season ticket.

You should have asked him if his name was Eric and pointed him in the direction of the Town End.

Really?  I rang up DVLA to renew a tax disc (for a car that had a SORN) and was told that the car could be used immediately.

Yeah you're ok if you renew before the current SORN or tax expires.

How hard can it be to get the post office in the ENTIRE MONTH you have before your tax disc runs out to renew it?

None at all, paying for it before pay day could be a problem though Wink

You not seen the length of a typical queue in a PO?  Wink

That's why you have a month.  'I'm going out for a tax disc, I may be some time.'

Just found out that because I've moved from SN11 to PR2 my car insurance has doubled. Not happy.

Having to use my PC and my iPhone for all things internetting for about a week as my SSD died. I'm finding myself avoiding using the Internet, such is the annoyance.

More amusingly, my spare 2.5" HDD is my backup and despite cloning it I can't check the clone works, as I'll need to restore the clone to the current backup, so if it failed, I'd be left with no backup. I'm glad I thought that one through... Twat.

Mother fucking motorway matrix signs. They spends months and god knows how many £££ to put the things in, causing traffic chaos, and for what. Absolutely nothing that's what. Completely pointless.

I mean take today for example. All the way from Chippenham -> West Swindon "50 - Caution Pedestrians on Road". Pretty serious stuff. Except there weren't any, unless the sodding pedestrians walked at 80 Mph and out walked me.

Then there is the frequent "40 - queue caution", I guess 2 cars within half a mile is a queue of sorts.

Either give us proper information or don't bother you bastards.
