Spending 5 minutes looking for the lid to the sugar, only to finally find it in my hand where it had been all along

Euthanasia might be the best thing for me right now.

I wouldn't. You'll get locked up for murder.

Cancelling my telephone account.

I called my provider yesterday to cancel my account with them, I needed to get this done by today. After waiting about 5 to 10 minutes the customer service person told me that because I didn't have my account number to hand then it would take 14 days to close; if I had my account number they could do it in 1 day  Huh? Huh?. I was told to go and find my account number and call back, which I did - after 10 minutes of holding I got through to them, they cancelled my account and it will be closed today - this time they didn't even ask me for my account number  Crash

I have an exam tomorrow which I'm not prepared for and know fuck all about. I doubt I'll reach the magical 40%.

Nothing against students as I didn't fancy being weighed down by debt, but whats the point in having a 40% pass mark on exam. What if you're a doctor and only got 90% on exam, someone dies. Oops it was in the 10% I got wrong, exams should have 100% pass rate!

Fine, if you accept the fact that you'll be sacked the next time you make a mistake at work.

I'm confident in all my other exams. I didn't choose this module though, an administrative fuck up meant I was 0.5 course units short, by the time they'd realised it was late January and this module was all they had left  (I'd already missed 6 lectures by that point). Maybe multiple choice exams should have a 100% pass rate, but timed essays? Not a chance.

A (female) colleague pointing out that in my desktop background (it's the wide angle shot of the team celebrating with the trophy on the floor in front of them) it looks like Caddis has pitched a tent.

Great, new background required then.

Thanks for your article on the history of American furniture, but we've changed our mind and now want an article on the history of European furniture instead. Can you write me a new one at no extra charge, and can you do it today?

How's about fuck-off?
