This happens here at work with the lifts. The little red light clearly shows, yet some halfwits seem to think that by bashing the button repeatedly after it has been pressed will magically make the lift appear!
I must confess, I press the lift button numerous times, and also the traffic light button numerous times. This is because: a) It passes time b) I don't trust others to press the button properly c) It annoys people  |

If you press the “door close” and “floor” buttons at the same time it should go straight to the floor you choose without stopping at any other floor in between

Spending 4 hours in A&E yesterday in no pain but with a really swollen hand, which after x-ray turns out to be fractured in 4 places. The swelling being to bad for them to put a tempory cast on so they have given me a splint to wear for 10 days that is so painful it is unreal & also given me the equivelent of a pez sweet for pain killers.
