The Whalebridge Junction. Not only does it not work, it's being ripped up and re-done (but not made better) because the tarmac is 'the wrong colour'. The powers that be in this town are fucking retarded.
This makes me fucking seethe with rage. I FUCKING HATE our stupid idiot council. Wrong colour?! We're having cutbacks yet our council is allowed to paint white lines fucking everywhere there's kerbs and rip up a "junction" because the tarmac is the wrong colour. Jesus. I'd like to punch the cunts in charge. It's funny how traffic wasn't really that bad there and now it's atrocious. I know I'm not alone in this, but I now use the bus sections if I am forced to use the town centre (which I now avoid at all costs). Fuck this cunting council. |

Excellent rage. Despite BBC Swindon reporting the 'wrong colour' thing, the real reason is that apparently the tarmac isn't 'anti-skid', but they laid it anyway to get it done in time for Xmas, and now need to rectify this decision. |

Furthermore, they couldn't lay the anti-skid at the time because the temperatures were too low. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have a roundabout there, but this seems like a non-story. Will reserve final judgement on the whole thing until I know how easy/difficult it makes going to Nandos. |

Its quite nice as chains of restaurants goes. Decent grilled chicken with corn on the cob and that sort of thing. Its allright but I really dont get the obssesion. But Im not a footballer. I have a bit more imagination. There's more to food than chicken.
