*selfish cunt time* hope this is resolved for our flight on Wednesday.
*non-selfish cunt time* hope all travelling today get home safely and without too much of an inconvenience.

It’s been alright. Weather good, hotel nice, son a pain in the arse. Typical parental holiday. Bristol to Tenerife leg now put back to a 20:15 departure… We’re gonna be here all night. Wish they’d just call it and get us out of here. At this rate we would have got to the airport when my son was 4 and we’ll still be here when he’s 5…!!

Im stuck in the sense we are just waiting in the airport. I understand these things happen. I just get the feeling we’ll continually be told the flight is delayed and delayed and we’ll be left in the airport all night. Not sure what can be done in truth? Someone on Twitter stuck on a Jet2 flight from Tenerife has tweeted that they’re taking them Gran Canaria as they can’t accommodate them all in Tenerife.

I think the airline have to give you some kind of voucher for some food and drink. We got one in Dublin Airport earlier this year when our flight was heavily delayed. From memory it was about 3.50 euro each which really doesn't stretch very far in an airport.

A couple of food vouchers not a massive concern of mine to be honest. It’s (eventually) having a tired, fed up 4 year over night in an airport but he might surprise me. It would just be nice to be given a definitive answer as to whether 1. Our plane will definitely be leaving Bristol and won’t just be delayed, delayed, delayed and then cancelled 2. Our plane will have the staff / hours etc to turn around and do the return leg. …at least then we’ll know what sorta wait we are dealing with

Jet2 people at Tenerife handing out paper to say flights are cancelled. Not sure about Bristol flight. Flight radar says play still due to leave Bristol at 20:15. Board in Tenerife says 18:40 (original flight time) to Bristol is cancelled…
I’d assume that as it was leaving the UK (unless that’s changed) it would still be going back later but fuck knows.
If anyone whose isn’t desperately hanging onto 20% phone battery can find anything?!
