I haven't seen the film that he was nominated for, but the whole thing seems a bit odd:
1. He flat hand slaps him in a 'theatrical' way. If you were that angry, wouldn't you punch and wouldn't you do it a couple of times?
2. He swore. Not sure whether his character in the film is a bit sweary? But, he knew it was live TV, so wouldn't have swore on live TV if staged. Or would he? They managed to bleep it out live apparently.
3. His acceptance speech sounded very 'prepared'.
4. I thought he and Chris Rock were best muckers?

Nah, it wasn’t sustained, and Rock has already declined to press charges. It was pretty shocking but nowhere near serious enough for the police to be overly bothered. |
