They won't be the last. Gas prices will bankrupt a fair few in the coming weeks.

From a selfish point of view (and only having mains electric, not gas) it would be great if they had any separation between the two supplier...

Same here. Not surprised as their website and customer service's ability to sort minor problems was non-existent.

Ofgem have moved us to British Gas. I’ll take great pleasure in moving to anyone else once our account is setup. Hopefully I don’t have an issue getting my £350 credit back.

Problem there is that 30% of UK electricity is generated by natural gas. Everything is interlinked.

Those evil tariffs are actually lower than what they should be charging at the moment due to the cap thingy, hence the spate of companies going bang.
