How should they refer to it? If you go into a pub/cafe etc and want to connect to the internet don't you ask if they have 'wifi'? Sometimes I ask if they have 'internet' but generally its 'wifi'. What's the bit that is irritating? |

I'm currently on the internet - but not on WiFi. People on 4G or 5G are also not on WiFi. I'd hazard a guess that more people are NOT on WiFi than those who are when using the internet.
You're likely to use WiFi in a cafe/pub, but that's more specific and wasn't even mentioned initially.
