I've always known it as a cooked dinner! & as far as I'm aware it's called a steak bake here aswell!!
Do you call it a raw dinner when you have a salad? Do they have salad in the Rhondda

Really, what do they call it? It is here. Mind you, don't mess about with Newport and their pasties. They sent a load of helicopters out when there was a theft from Greggs once.
It was a lattice something, to be honest I lost my nerve and had a cheese and onion instead. Had an hour to kill before the train so had a wander round the town centre taking in the Chartist memorial was very nice, as was the pasty. Theft from the golden squares is the lowest of the low, I would expect armed response for such an assault on civilisation as we know it!

A certain irony mentioning the Chartists, when the Tories are busy gerrymandering constituencies nationally, and gerrymandering parishes locally.

I always used to get taken to the hallowed Devon Savouries as a kid, so have never had much affection for Greggs.
But £2 for a bacon roll and a coffee is a godsend for the perpetually knackered (me). Long may it continue.

Evans fish and chip restaurant, then a pint in the Crystal Palace I was in the crystal palace Saturday after the rugby. 8.45 for a pint of London pride and a pint of Guinness.

Bristol City fans ranting and raving about how good their loan striker is...hang on a minute, I thought signing players on loan was cheating?
