Daft question on where to park for the coach

It's been 15 years since I last travelled with SAS to away games. Do most people on here park at the ground or in nearby streets and catch the coach from the ground?

Park at the CG. Dead cheap to park there all day.

Not sure there will be much parking at the CG though with so many coaches going from the CG, they will have to pack into the CG somehow, park in nearby tesco's.

I asked about this when I booked my tickets - they said there should be plenty of parking spaces as they will line the coaches up behind the Town End in two batches. Though I imagine the spaces will fill up quickly.

Am I right in thinking that the parking is free at the weekends on non match days (the sign is a bit confusing)?

Usually you can park at the county ground and hop on the coach, but can't see that being available to be honest as if they've sold 50+ coaches, the've gotta park them in car park to sort everyone out plus that means there gonna be at least 2500 people down there looking for there coach and some trying to park.
 
I would park elsewhere and walk ie. Gorse Hill, Shrivenham rd, Walcot if I was you.

The town centre is all residents parking, including Gorse Hill, and you can bet the traffic wardens will be out.

You might as well bus it into the town centre and walk to the CG.

You can park behind the co-op on cricklade road for free. It's not very big though and may fill up quickly

You can park pretty much any where In Old Walcot I think, bar half of Cumberland Rd. Burford Ave usually fills up quickly, but you shouldn't have a problem on Eastern Ave or Walcot Rd if you're there early enough.
