I don't like those clappy things, but there was a decent all round mix of atmosphere and noise last night. It's been a frustrating atmosphere in the town end this season too but last night showed the potential. I fucking loved it.

When I first heard about the clappy things I was thinking "oh jesus" but they were a great idea and really helped to generate a great atmosphere.  Good effort by the club there.

The one thing that the clappy things did do was encourage lots of people who don't normally make any noise to get involved more as they were happy to use them.

I've just watched the start of the game on the TV coverage and it was that loud that it's hard to hear the commentators. A lot of that noise was coming from people using the clappy things.

So overall I think it was a good idea by the club.

PS. I guess all you moaney buggers won't like it if we bring ours on Monday

I was wondering about taking mine on Monday as well, maybe they're lucky? - you know, on the lines of wear exactly the same clothes, eat the same food during the day, have the same items in my bag?  Anything that will help us to win!!!
