hmmmm so does this mean Samsung are our new shirt sponsors??? As part of a new partnership deal with Swindon Town, Samsung are searching for a player who will join Danny Wilson’s squad for a year, signing professional terms in January 2011. |

I was going to enter via an out of body experience on account of visas taking to long to process (assuming I'd have to attend at least one training session a week as well as Saturday and Tuesday matches) but then I saw there's no "Region" for expats or overseas based talent and I decided that I might have a problem playing for such a narrow minded outfit.

Really surprised that we got Samsung on board, this competition to find a new player is a fantastic idea.
I just love what is being done to our club right now, both on the pitch and off it. Just makes you wonder where we could be in five years time with the ambition the board is showing.

I was worrying that if we didnt get promoted this season we could what other clubs who have missed out on the play offs have done, which is then go on to struggle, but this board gives me hope. They are starting to build a really strong club and getting some really good links with the right people. I feel the club is heading in the right direction and even if we dont go up, i feel we are building a really strong platform to be continuosly competitive.
Its fantastic.

Whats the point in finding young talent....if they fuck off at the first opportunity ala Henshall.
Great idea and a great incentive for youngsters in the area though to make the bigtime,it would be nice if we could hold onto them.
