but always a smile Ha! That's true, I like to smile. Got few hundred 69ers in my cupboard having picked them up from the printers this morning. Smiling at that too - think they look pretty good.

That would be something, wouldn't it. No, but I have got a few old copies which I might bring along as freebies.

Would they include this? It’s a Man's Game?
It’s the same story every time they play I see it in the nervousness on the face The twitching irritability which builds from two days before And stretches after defeat to two days beyond. It’s the ‘get out of my way’ when I walk in front of Match of the Day It’s the snarl I get when, fed up, I exclaim "Oh for goodness sake, it’s only a game!"
We’ve been married for plenty of years, But a bit of peace and quiet suits; The house empty, I slow down the pace Discussing with myself the merits(and demerits)of the good old human race Turning the pages of those magazines never seen, Eating those cakes so recently baked Phoning my mother in peace.
But then the games over - quarter to five – that much I’ve learned I check the score And bate my breath… But whatever the score, I know what’s in store Is the after-match analysis, that list of names That "bastard of a referee" And that "dirty, northern number three" So I whip off my pinny, smooth back my hair And greet her with my usual smile “It was great, John,” she says, “now give us a kiss.”

No idea where you found that. But it was never in the fanzine - at least I don't think it was, it's a bit hard to remember every single thing that was in 30 issues.
So you will see a few people dotted about selling, including in the Merlin, CG Hotel and Winners (hopefully) and outside in various places. Still if you think you can flog a few somewhere and want to pick some up from me, do that - can still do with more help if anyone's up for it.

Most people will go through between 2 and 3 so that would be plenty early enough. Anyway who wants to can pick some up from me at the Ground as I'm parking in the car park today and rendezvous with me later for cash handover.

Crystall, are you the one selling the 69er in the "That's Football" film?
I've never seen the film, but there were rarely any girls helping me sell in the old days. I have been described as 'a funny looking little woman with lots of hair' so if that's what the film shows, it's probably me.
- About 25 seconds in. Thoroughly enjoyed the one off special edition today. Well done to all involved.
