i haven't read through all of this thread but sheehan was dire. he barely gave a ball to anyone they could do something with. it's all very well spotting someone is in space but giving a shit ball hard behind someone isn't really going to help. also with regard to his long range shooting (his freekick excluded) he dragged them woefully when he had space to go into and then lay it off

he really irritates me

That's what I thought.

In which case...isn't it his goal, according to the letter of the law? I thought if a shot is hit on target, and deflects in off an opponent, it gets given to the shooter, no matter how big the deflection.
