Could be quite attacking.  Smiley Best form of defense is attack n'all that, they won't be expecting it.

But a Soton the team did so well. If it were me, I'd be absolutely gutted. Unless Easton comes in, and Nouble goes on the bench. That probably sounds a bit more like it actually...

I think Nouble will  be unleashed if/when Austin gets knackered.

I'd be shocked if we didn't go 442 again, and agree with KOT. MM was good, but that doesn't mean he has to start does it. We need as much grit and work rate in the middle as possible, and I'd fancy Dougie and Easton rather than Dougie and JPM

Bugger. I've just seen this T-shirt, but it's too late to get it for tomorrow.

I reckon it will be the team that started Tuesday with Easton for Ferry and LJF for Cuthbert. Playing 4-3-3 (or 4-5-1) with Marshall and Ward is a pretty attacking formation. Unless Wilson thinks Nouble really is that good in which case he'll revert to our normall 4-4-2 with Easton in for Ferry.

Personally I would play 442 at home but I have a feeling that Timlin will be a straight swap for Ferry, despite Easton being better IMO and we will go with the 4-5-1/4-3-3 depending on how far upfield Ward and Marshall play with JPM playing the more central role again.

I also think that Nouble will be introduced in the second half and not started from the off.

id put jpm in the middle and keep marhsall wide right with nouble playing upfront alongside charlie.

it gives norwich someone else to worry about from the start id keep marshall in the team as his performances have been great hes earnt his right not to be dropped.

Taking into account the amount of first team football Marshall has played recently (ie none!) maybe 3 games in a week might be a bit too much.

Think we must go 4-4-2 at home really. Before we went on that run of 8 straight home wins or whatever it was our problem was that we were playing 4-5-1 and struggling to create chances. My team would be:

Smith

Darby
Greer
LJF
Sheehan

JP
Douglas
Easton
Ward

Austin
Nouble

That's the logical line up I would say. No fucking around with formations.

Agree with it other than put Marshall left and Ward up front. If Marshall doesn't show up ( but it seems like he deserves a chance ) then  bring Nouble on and switch Ward to the left.
