OK.  This is where I have to commit to doing something comical and hilarious if we finish 2nd in May.  That way, the Adver will be able to run a piece about a 30-something Town fan painting his arse red & white and running 5 laps of the County Ground pitch naked at midnight after the final game before being arrested and spending a night in the cells.

I suppose there's no harm in dreaming...as long as no one is on a downer in 4 months time after 'only' making the Play Offs (which, incidentally, is not a foregone conclusion.)

I'd rather get excited and live with the disappointment. I'm fairly well balanced, I won't be chucking myself under any trains or slashing my wrists if we don't win the league.

I just don't get all this "Let's not get our hopes up" stuff. What's the point in that?
