You're addicted to Robert Palmer?

Up until he died.

I'm more of a tea person but recently i've been drinking a lot more coffee. I've actually just made myself a huge mug of coffee now funnily enough.

I've got a lovely  green tea and lemon on the go.  :poofs:

Never been a huge fan of drinking tea through the day and I've been upping the old water to replace the coffee.  That said you can't beat a good builders tea with a Sunday fry-up.

For my next foray into chemicals I'm going to start injecting plant food .

I've cut down loads in the past few months, mainly because I don't work in the office most of the time and clients are tight with their coffee provisions.

I probably still have 6 cups a day.

You need some red bush tea. Doesn't go well with ginger nuts though

Oh but it does. About four years ago I was working at a company in Chippenham that had a whizzy free coffee machine with all of the popular blends. At one point I was drinking about twelve cups of strong stuff a day and decided that it was excessive so stopped. As well as tea. The next day I got an awful headache which lasted for a whole week. Researching it a bit I found that caffeine constricts the blood vessels in your brain. When you stop drinking it your brain expands and is too big for your cranium, hence the headache. My good lady had exactly the same thing when we went to France a few years back. Not enough coffee = bonce ache. So I concluded that something that makes you feel bad when you stop taking it can't be good for you.

So I haven't drunk the stuff since. As Dazzzza says, I sleep a lot better and don't feel so knackered any more.

I miss tea though. My favourite drink, even compared to beer.

Oh and if you do go the caffeine free route expect some bloody odd looks from people.

"You don't drink coffee?Huh?" "Can I offer you a tea instead?" "No?" accompanied by a gasp and a dropping jaw with 'weirdo' formed by the veins on their forehead.

I sometimes think that coffee is a clever ploy to make sure that employees' productivity is maximised...

Really? Most people make coffee to get out of work for a few minutes every hour.

It’s an odd drug looking back I was literally buzzing off my tits and running round at 100mph in the afternoon.

It's a decaf blend, which I suppose is double gay.

Ive tried all the "healthy" teas and as much as I want to like them they all taste like Dish Water.
