I only managed one of my numerous resolutions for 2009, I don't think I will bother for 2010.

That said, my work situation didn't help with most of them.

All mine were pretty minor last year. I didn't manage to socialise more, or stay a non-smoker, but i did manage to see more of my family. This year i plan to learn 4 languages to a proper level, as i have a basic grasp of the main 4 euro languages and want them all down to a t.

I also plan to attend my Mum's Christmas party next year, as i always avoid it like the plague and always feel guilty. (It's today...)

Out of interest what do you consider the 4 main Euro languages?

Presumably Spanish, English, German and, er, French or one of them there eastern block countries?

edit: Well who'd have thought Italian was slightly more widely spoken then Spanish.

I didn't include English... Oops. They may not even be the 4 main ones, i just naively considered them the 4 most common based upon what i could learn at school. (I know not of what is the most widely spoken.) Smiley French, German, Spanish and Italian.

I'm gonna miss resolutions this year I think. I've not recovered from quitting smoking yet, one at a time like.

Right, well that's enough to make you a polyglot...

I'd have thought in terms of most widely spoken, Russian and Portuguese would probably exceed German and Italian.

Depends if you are talking world wide or in the EU I think.
