I'm very ashamed of myself right now, in fact, if Batch hadn't quoted my post it would be long deleted

My Mum is a big fan of Jasper Fforde. I read The Eyre Affair and I didn't really get the hype.
I love jasper Ffordes books. Looking forward to the next Friday Next book. The randomness of it is great!

Vi er best i verden! Vi er best i verden! Vi har slått England 2-1 i fotball!! Det er aldeles utrolig! Vi har slått England! England, kjempers fødeland. Lord Nelson, Lord Beaverbrook, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Anthony Eden, Clement Attlee, Henry Cooper, Lady Diana--vi har slått dem alle sammen. Vi har slått dem alle sammen. Reminds me of the halcyon days of the TEF. http://thetownend.com/index.php/topic,2810.0.html

Was in Disney Shop today and that woman was in there with the cameras following her "just browse these items now" "ohh that's right we'll have shot of you and eeyore together"
Felt like telling her she was rather sad - and asking her is she realised Swindon will now have the Mickey (mouse) taken out of it now even more so than normal !!

I wonder who we beat to get his prestigous honour.
Apperently, in the UK we beat Lincoln, Norwich, Weston SuperMare, Brighton, Cambridge, Bristol, Brighton and Aberdeen. Not sure who was nominated outside the UK.

I see some witty gas fans are going to sing some "themed songs" on Saturday (according to a thread on their forum).

This is going to come back to haunt us big style at some point. I can see someone like Rovers all turning up with Mickey Mouse ears and hands. We should be pre-empting them - get Disney to ship us the gear so we can all watch a game looking like Mickey Mouse.
