I think he's the type who would go there for exactly that reason.  "Once they hated me, now they love me, I'm a special one..." etc.  He seems to love the controversy and has the ultimate self-belief that he would turn around the views of their fans and deliver the title.  It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he went there.

Except Liverpool have got fuck all money. I read one article saying they'll have to sell players in January to balance the books. Mourinho will want cash to spend so that would rule Liverpool out, plus he wouldn't want to deal with the shit from the owners.
