...playing in the same proper league level round of a football competition?
Chippenham or Supermarine have never made the first round of the FA Cup have they? Didn't Salisbury make it a few years ago which makes this the second time at least. So I'm guessing the third time, because I'm sure I forgot one.

No they have never made it that far. This saeson they had there best chance, but blew it by losing to Paulton. Missed out on Norwich at Home ! |

Indeed they did until going bust...we saw off the might of the county town in 1895/96 in the cup. 3-1 on their dung heap. Chippenham were put in their place in the same comp...5-0 in at the CG, 02/03. I saw us do Sarum 4-0 in 67/68...Pat Terry scoring a hat trick. |

What is still funny is that Oxford are two promotions away from playing us and two relegations away from playing Swindon Supermarine (well this season anyway) but wouldn't that be great. |
