Wilson, goal drought over?
First 15 -20 min. a lot of corners and balls in our box, first goal massively important. Could have had seven with the chances made in the second half. Put balls into the right places. First two goals were real quality, crosses with Billy getting ahead of his marker.
Passed well in second half, good pace. Billy could have had a first half hattrick. Played well in the reserves on Tuesday. Billy came back in shedloads. If we can get goals into areas we will score. Macca and Ferry need to score more often. Bright in free kicks.
Fans worry, Wilson doesn't worry. Today a big lift for the players. FA Cup big game for us next week. It's all about confidence, might be more belief now. Dissappointed about goal conceded.

Oh I see. Well that makes all the difference!
Yes, it looks like a cup, it shines like a cup, and you get knocked out if you don't win, so yes it's a cup.

Interesting to see that we have now climbed above Rovers, on goal difference. A few weeks ago people were looking at Rovers and complaining that we weren't doing as well as them and that we weren't scoring enough. We're now 2 goals to the good. We do need to keep picking up the points though as it's all a bit tight behind us.

Interestingly Rovers like us have scored double the amount of goals away as at home, no team in the Div has scored less than us at home.....big win today as it lifts the pressure. Despite what may happen in the cup, we're not going to get a great deal of games in November...I'm assuming Leeds will be postponed...so the potential for slipping down the table too much is abatted.

So does that mean Wilson won't be getting sacked in the next couple of weeks then?

That is a good question PaulD.
The panic'ers, some of whom are present on this thread, will keep their cards close to their chest.
The rest, will simply enjoy the victory.
Our best away win since...?

So does that mean Wilson won't be getting sacked in the next couple of weeks then? I suppose a loss to Woking wouldn't look too clever...as said managers are only ever a bad run from the sack, managers prove their competence by getting results. Wilson goes on...for now.

Of course.
I struggle to put the importance of these results in perspective to be honest with you.

My research tells me that the last comparable result was 3-0 away at Wycombe in the league in 2004.
Parkin with a rare goal from outside the box if I remember.
Also; Several Swindon fans dragged away by police for going on the green stuff whilst celebrating.

The Wycombe game and its predecessor at Looton, were our only 2 wins in the last 10 of that season...at one point we threatened auto, only to stumble into the PO's.
