1. Barry corr was so injury prone it was ridiclulous, plus his extreme right wing views didnt sit too well with the "lets kick racism out" campaign, his violent anti-irish sentiment put him on a collision course with our ex manager Maurice malpas.

2. I think we will thrash you because we should. For starters you are based in devon. Devon! as if anyone takes you seriously, clotted cream and shoplifting in the summer is all devon is good for. i could go on...

3. I  think we will finish top half, have no idea who Bristol city are playing.

1. Big Bad Barry Corr is unfortunatly for him Balsa Wood Barry Corr, he will get a serious injury soon, if he hasn't already, classy signing IF and its a bloody big IF he can stay even remotely fit.

2. We won't lose, we will probably draw 0-0 or 1-1, nice close one for me....less than 30 miles from home to ground, can't wait, we should bring around 800-900 it would have been a near sell out if the game was on a Saturday.

3. We will be top half of the table 9th or 10th I feel , Exeter will avoid relegation but not by much 2 places above the relegation spots.

Corr hasn't even managed a full season of games over his career yet has he? as in he's played less than 50 in total I think.

You have to sign him for 5 years to get a years worth of a contract earned.

Hi everyone, doing a piece for the Exeter City website for Tuesday where we get the views from opposition fans and wondering if you could help me by answering a few questions?

1. First things first; Barry Corr. What are your views on him? Sad to see him go? Will he be a success at Exeter?

2. What are your expectations ahead of Tuesday? Confident?

3. Finally how do you think your season will pan out? And any idea how City will get on.

Any other comment ahead of the match would be great!

1. Always gave his best for Swindon and if it wasn't for his crucial goals in our league 2 season we wouldn't have gone up - he was playing with a broken back at the time. If you can keep him fit and he shows that desperation to play football, then you have a decent enough player at this level. Sometimes his desperation to play lands him in trouble with the referee but you already know about that.

2. A rubbish game and a 1-1 draw is likely. It will be interesting to see if and how Wilson changes the personnel/system to add the danger we've been lacking in the last couple of games.

3. The points are ticking over even when we're not playing well. I think we'll finish top half.

I don't know about you but ex-players ALWAYS score against us. Worried the same will happen tomorrow?

What were Barry's best moments for you? Was he popular with the fans?

Already been mentioned - he scored an absolute corker against Bournemouth at the CG.  Great close control and a smashing finish.  I always worry about ex-players scoring against us - is Barry playing at the moment?

I agree with most of the above replies.  A very good, very brittle, lower league striker.

Barry Corr's best moment was without a doubt that late equaliser he bundled in at Bournemouth, not a patch on the first goal but nicked us a point and jumped straight in the away end causing a proper riot, mint.

Barry Corr was a decent enough player when he wasnt injured or elbowing people in the face. I know its all a bit hindsight but seeing our strikers now (Paynter on as only striker. Tope, Revell & Hutchinson all on loan) then we should have at least signed Corr on a short term deal to cover our backs. We could do with him right now and a fit Barry Corr would walk into our starting 11.

Sadly a fit Barry Corr was a very rare thing. I'm surprised he isnt injured yet at Exeter.

I think the game will follow our current pattern and be a 1-1 draw, where we are by far the better side. Play much better football, create loads more chances and fail to score and kill the game off. Corr will score for Exeter.

I think we'll finish mid table. We're a decent striker away from having a play off chasing team but we'll draw just as many games as we win. Probably finish smack bang in the middle unless we bring some more quality in, in January

Correct - problem is it wouldn't really have been "covering our backs", as when needed as cover, he would more than likely have not been fit, therefore providing no cover at all.  A shame it was, but we were right to let him go.

Barry didn't really play enough to get a real following if you know what i mean. He was kind of mythical: you knew he existed, you'd heard he was good, but you rarely saw him play. To be completely honest Barry looked good at times, but you were always on Tenterhooks because you knew the poor bloke was made out of porcelain and a stray pass might end his season.

Again, hindsight but he's fit now isnt he?

by covering our backs I meant - if we didnt sign a direct Simon Cox replacement (which we didnt) then we'd still have at least 2 strikers to start the season with as opposed to 1!

we wouldnt need Barry Corry to provide cover in our squad because he'd be on our first 11 anyway.

Am I the only one who seem to think Exeter will beat us. They aren't that bad of a team and fourfourtwo seemed to have them down to finish in the top ten.

Nope, I think we'll lose this one.

Can't win/draw them all Smiley

I think we're going to get punished for not killing off opposition at home plus Exeter have been playing okay (although losing) against League One's better sides.

1-0 loss for me.

Corr is indeed fit and came on for last twenty minutes on Saturday at Charlton. He's not been injured other than minor knocks since joining the club which can only be good for us!
