Got back about an hour ago, roads on the way home were fine, but on the way there the 303 was gridlock. We left at 11.30 and got to the ground at 2.55, went about 6 miles in over an hour.
The game was similar to last week in the way we looked unspectacular going forward but solid in the middle and at the back. First half neither side threatened apart from the goal, but second half we should have added to our tally.
Lucas played well and looked solid, only slight criticism is that he looked a little suspect under the high ball, but his kicking and communication are superb. Ferry and Douglas were good again, JD is a real player and, along with the two centre halves and BP, we seem to have a quality spine for this level. Greer and Cuthbert were faultless, particularly Scott, who was my MOTM.
We didn't look as good wide as we have done at home but this might be something to do with the system changing. Amankwaah looked dodgy for the first half and JPM did not really get near the level he has been at. The whole side looked alot more composed second period and, like I said, we should have added to the single goal. BP was awesome again, surprised he wasn't replaced for the last 15 as he was clearly tired, but the guy has got a massive heart and his determination is second to none. Hutchinson I feel could be a real player for us if we give him the chance, he's got pace and strentgh and will score goals, but a few seemed to be on his back from the first whistle today.
The subs; Macklin looked a real threat with his pace but missed a sitter, Tope looked better than he has done so far and Timlin is more than adequate to bring in for the last 20 mins.
Shit atmosphere again from both sides, but we all know it's going to be at Yeovil, so not really worth complaining about.

I'm glad we have a consensus. There is an obligation on everyone who went to report back before going out to get lashed.

Anyone close enough to the dugouts to hear what Wilson said to get a ticking off?

those who went, do you think we've lost a bit of creativity in midfield moving JPM back out to the right?
