This is the new home of Bayern and 1860......the clever bit is that the air filled ETFE cushions can change their colour, and will do so when either club is at home or a third choice when the national team are there.

The cushions block out something like 5% of natural light inside the stadium, and different coloured lights, are placed inside to create the colours when looking from the outside

Nice. That new stadium must be a semi-final venue though surely.

On the subject of stadiums, did you hear that they've pushed the Wembley deadline to March 2006, after they were "on schedule for Christmas this year" a couple of months ago. Typical. I can already predict that the last few seats will be put in place, hours before fans arrive for the final. Bloody Irish Soapy Tit Wank

Final is at Berlin
3rd Place farceoff is at Stuttgard.
Semi finals are : Dortmund and Munich
Quaters are : Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt and Gelsenkirchen (?!)

Seen the Hamburg stadium from the outside. Looked pretty nice, in a new stadium kind of way. The German construction workers have been very busy.
