we didnt get an apology from the guy who reffed us at home to Hartlepool and gave them the phantom penalty.

that decision directly cost us a point. Southend were always going to be second best saturday.

That decision was instrumental in Northampton going down.  Hartlepool should have been relegated.

the ref was poor but saying sorry wont change the result.these things balance out over a year and i'm sure we will get a homer on our travels.

Referees dont normally apologise ... if an apology is needed (which is very rare with refs) it comes from the The Chief Ref (whatever they call him).

Southend are a very sad club, get over it the refs at this level are normally shit, this is total bollocks imo.
