Take nothing away from town tonight it wasn't so much southampton was shit it's just we (Swindon) never let them play the way they wanted.

We closed players down and generally hassled them when they had the ball.  JPM is like a new signing at the moment and long way he continue in this role whilst he's playing at the effort levels he is.

Douglas is vastly becoming the signing i expected. Great intelligent player.  Lucas too fills me with confidence in goal.

The new lad felt a bit sorry for him tonight think he's trying to hard but i still believe he will come good for us.  The potential is there to see.

Overall great performance from all the lads

Keep it up

just got back.

that was fucking quality. we played very very well. Timlin, JP and douglas were emense in the middle and even though Paynter is the only striker we have he don't half put in the effort. top draw and also great to see some old faces (not just yours adje  Wink )

and thanks Charlotte for the ticket. Was appreciated.

Good post summed up a lot of what I wanted to say.  Great tempo to our play tonight, constantly in there faces hassling them, some slick passing as well.  Good performance, atmosphere and result.

Really enjoyable game ...
Some of the one-touch football especially in the first half was brilliant.
We could have easily walked away winning by three.

Question: how the hell did that header from Paynter in the first half not go in, I had a bad view low down in the DRS this evening, what did the keeper stop it with.

Good atmosphere, to be truthful I thought the Saints fans were OK, especially when they were telling Pardew they needed a sub. Now that is something to copy, I thought it was hilarious seeing all the Saints supporters giving the rolling arms bit.

we seemed to have corner after corner tonight.

we looked really threatening and had a few chances cleared off the line.

And as Dell said how the hell did paynters diving header not go in. Must of been a supurb save
