I want to get me some Lazer eye surgery!!

To qualify for laser eye surgery you need to have 4 presciptions in a row without variation...or as you call it ....getting a bit more blinder again!

I have considered it many times as I have got 6 prescriptions without deteriation now and it can be done for as little as £250 per eye now, in and out in an hour.

Oh thanks JJ I wasnt aware of that actually! my percription has got worse everytime for about the last 3/4 years but the optitions keep telling me it will level off soon

My mum was too blind for lazer surgery so she has just has the lense inmplants - its a pretty horrifc operation but it healed quickly and she says it the best thing she has ever had done.

The only problem with laser surgery is that it is still likely you'll need glasses when you get older. If implant contact lenses weren't so expensive I'd have got them by now. Plus some girls dig the glasses and emo hair.

My eyes got worse within a year of getting glasses, my presctiption had doubled from a lowely -0.75to a still not too bad -1.5/-1.75. You might find the same when you next have them checked out arriba.

I had a contact lense aftercare appointment the other week which didn't show signs my eyes were any worse thankfully. I still need new glasses though as my head is too big for my frames so they're quite tight. Something which I or Vision Express failed to realise when I bought them. General skintness means I can't afford them at the moment though.

Mine has been -3.75 for 7 years and before that it was -4.00 for 3 years so my eyesight is actually getting (albeit it very tiny) improvments, by the time I am 80 I may well not need glasses Cheesy.

I would bloody love laser eye surgery though, I hate wearing glasses all the time, I wouldn't mind wearing them for reading small print as is one of the side effects of such surgery, the thought of waking up and being able to see clearly as soon as your eyes open is so appealing.

God yeah defo! - swimming and lifeguard training is a big pain for me - either have to keep lenses in and wear goggles (which Im not really supposed to do) or go in blind!
