If you read it properly though, these predicitons were done before we signed anyone and before Cox had gone, though they did take into account the fact that Cox was on his way!
Juddie evens says that our most important signing will be the midfielder that we haven't signed yet!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tranmere_rovers/8176586.stmThey've lost the likes of chris greenacre, ben chorley and club captain antony kay, and there only signing of note has been that of alan mahon. Theres the potential for a play-off hangover after coming so close last season, and they obviously no longer have the man in charge who got them there, instead replacing him with someone who's only experience came with messing up at celtic, and a moron.

Sometimes that can work in a teams favour by all pulling together and making a fight of it,It's the first i've heard about disharmony at the club tho.
My Dads best mate up in Runcorn is a die hard Tranny life long season ticket holder, hes very concerned about the future of the club and a lot of the players don't like JB's style of management...apparently, they are also finding it very hard to replace the players they have lost...especially up front...ring any bells?

Bristol city finished 10th last season didn't they? The old 10th place curse means they're in for struggle this season

I hope you win Leefer! on the Tranny thing again...this is a direct quote from a Tranny fan on the Yeovil forum yesterday. Hello all,
Tranmere fan here, just wondered how your pre-season is going?, in all honesty you couldnt be playing us at better time, we are nowhere near ready for the new season, we have no senior central defenders!! and if Barnes doesnt get one in on time we will be playing with a youth defender and a midfielder, even if he does they will not have played together
We have also been playing poorly pre-season and Savage ( our best striker last year ) is now out until Feb, its all going wrong as a Tranmere fan and its a bit of a worry

Do tranmere own their own ground or are they just tennant's.
Unlike many Football League clubs who rent their grounds, Tranmere own the nine-acre site at Prenton Park and the nearby Ingleborough Road training ground.
They have been attempting to secure planning permission for housing development at Ingleborough Road, which is currenly used by the club’s school of excellence set-up.

So Tranmere are going to down because they're in disarray and have lost key players, whereas the good ship HMS Harmonious sailing from the happy harbour that is St James' Park will go straight back up as champions? Hmmmm
